A great way to approach your travel photography is to assemble a number of individual images into a larger series that explore a concept or tell a story. Sometimes the message or meaning of the story lies beneath metaphor or symbolism. On other occasions it's more obvious. Exploring an issue or concept can be personally rewarding for the photographer and provide your audience with a new appreciation for the subject matter or topic in question.

Did you know that, in Vietnam, the Vietnam War is referred to as the America War? For folks like me, born into a relatively safe and stable country, this piece of knowledge puts a different perspective on the conflict.
