How to Photograph Shanghai
Shanghai is a large and lively city. My Photography Tour China 2012 will visit Shanghai during January 2012. We'll head for The Bund which is a great location for architectural photography either side of sunset. We can look across the Huangpu River to the futuristic Oriental Pearl TV Tower, a highly photogenic scene. Turning around 180 degrees we take a short 5 minute walk up to the neon glow of Nanjing Road, a shopping mecca for many, and a great location for our session of night photography.
Heading back to the Peace Hotel for a fantastic dinner and a quiet drink in the bar where the house band has played jazz for decades. I reckon those guys have seen it all.
Please be sure to watch the entire presentation as it includes pics of one of the hotels I'm considering for our stay in Shanghai.
