Composition in Photography

Pan’s Labyrinth is a classic fantasy film directed by Guillermo Del Toro. I’ve discovered that photographer’s can learn a great deal from how Del Toro strove for simplicity in his approach to film making, even when dealing with complex concepts.

My journey in photography has taught me much about the power of composition and how color can positively impact the emotional power of the images we create. Here’s what years of study and practical experience has taught me.
